Hello! My name is Chantille McCarthy and I am the owner and lead math teacher of CareWorks Tutoring. My husband, Adam, is one of our math and science tutors. My husband and I both attended college in Wichita Kansas, where we reside, to become secondary math and science teachers. I spent nearly a decade teaching middle and high school math in the public school setting. My husband has over a decade of experience teaching both science and math for middle and high school students. We both pursued our master degrees in Education in 2017. Since then, Adam went back to school to obtain another masters degree in leadership.
In 2018, we went through a traumatic experience losing our baby girl during our third trimester. A few months following the event, I developed chronic vestibular disorders that left me unable to live a normal life. I had to make the hard decision to resign from teaching so I could focus on my health.
I had to find a way to make some income that could be done from home with flexible hours and this is how CareWorks Tutoring was birthed. Tutoring allows me to still teach my love for math and build student relationships, the part of teaching that I miss the most. Since then my health has significantly improved and our business as grown so much! Sometimes hard situations bring forth blessings beyond your wildest dreams!

These sessions will be offered to a small group of students who are all struggling in the same course at any given grade level. Less time will be devoted to individualized instruction, and sessions will be more focused on re-teaching concepts discussed in class. Sessions scheduled with a small group will be priced at a reduced rate.
Our virtual sessions are just as engaging as our in person services! Your child will receive the same learning opportunities presented to all students that are seen physically. The only difference is this will be from the comfort of your home!
Our one-on-one tutoring involves more than homework assistance and getting assignments completed. The tutors at CareWorks Tutoring are licensed teachers and implement strategies used in the classroom setting to help your child retain knowledge learned at school. We identify learning gaps in our students, have our students practice foundational skills, and pre-teach concepts students will be discovering in the future.
